Your private Southern Highlands wine tour will uncover the best pockets of this stunning region as you traverse scenic country roads, sample cool climate wine, dine on local cuisine and enjoy its unique rustic charm.

Your tour can begin in Sydney and surrounds or locally within the Southern Highlands wine region from your AirBnB, hotel or anywhere as required. This is your day and we will do whatever is needed to make it truly memorable, so whether you are planing a hens party, corporate trip, ladies day out, family or any reason at all we will work with you to ensure that the locations as well as the tone and timing will be right for your group.

We don’t want your day to feel too rushed so typically 5-6 stops works well on a full day with lunch being anything from private grazing table amongst the vines, historic pub feed, lazy lunch in a local restaurant or snacking your way through some of the best food stops in the Southern Highlands. Some of the fantastic local wineries we work with include Joadja Estate,  Centennial Vineyard, Tractorless Vineyard, Tertini and Bendooley Estate as well as the historic Joadja Distillery which can be included in the day.

The Southern Highlands winery tour itinerary below flows really well but if you would like to make some changes to it then that is totally fine and we will work with you to fine tune the perfect day.

 

A note on tasting fees: Due to covid all wineries are now charging tasting fees, usually at $10pp. This is not included in base costings so will be added to order after number of winery visits are confirmed.

What time can our tour start?

This is your day and it’s all about making it work for you. If pick up is in Sydney then 8.30am works well or if pick up is in the Southern Highlands then start time can be from 9 – 9.30am. This is a fully private tour so just let us know what you prefer and we will make it happen.

CAN YOU PICK UP & DROP OFF ANYWHERE AT ALL?

We sure can. This is your day and we are here to take care of you. Anywhere in or around Sydney, Wollongong or starting in the Southern Highlands, we can collect and drop off at any location that suits you. Multiple pick and drop off locations can be arranged too.

What kind of wine can we enjoy in the Southern Highlands?

The Southern Highlands are an elevated cool climate wine region near Sydney that produces excellent wine due to the soil and climate. You can enjoy a variety of wines like riesling, pinot gris, chardonnay, sparkling whites and reds, pinot noir, gewurtztraminer, shiraz and many others. To mix it up you can also enjoy stops at breweries and a sensational whisky and gin distillery.

Can I choose a different vehicle?

Yes, absolutely. Although all vehicles will be modern with air conditioning our whole philosophy is to cater to our clients exact needs so if you would prefer to tour in something more exotic like an Audi, Porsche, Mercedes or luxury SUV then just let us know and arrangements will be made. Note that costs for this service will be factored into tour pricing.

Can guests make suggestions on itineraries?

Absolutely! Our service philosophy is based around being highly flexible and accommodating. We can tailor a tour based on your general preferences or if you have specific places you would like to visit (or avoid) then that will be built in to your day. Just contact us before or after booking to discuss.
